  Sunday Worship Service
 | |
 May 27, 10:30 am:
"Young Folks, Old Folks, Everybody Come"
Rev. Chip Wright with Worship Associate Scott Merrick
There is a truth in the old biblical saying:  'We all drink from wells we did not dig.'  It reaches deep and speaks to an ancient cycle embedded in our human family to honor those who have come before us.  Come celebrate our elders and learn a bit about the cornerstones of this liberal religious community.

WELLNESS DINNERS: We have one more opportunity to participate this year, Tuesday, August 21st.  Mark your calendar if you wish to be a part of  this very important outreach!  Email cjwlittrell@aol.com or call: 883-9676 if you wish to participate in August!
St. Vincent's Soup KitchenMany UUCM members have enriched their spiritual development by providing direct service to Marin's homeless community. Contributions of money, time, food and labor are important. Even more important is the deeper personal evolution that comes with direct...face-to-face, heart-to-heart interaction with our housing-challenged friends.

Marin's Interfaith Street Chaplaincy offers us a rich opportunity to connect.  That's all. Just connect...for the sake of our own spiritual development.

Summer dinners will be prepared FOR US--at St. Vincent's soup kitchen--by volunteers from the street community.

There will be an open mike for anyone who wants to sing, recite, or otherwise perform for the gathering. So contact figleafjoan@comcast.net (453-6221) to reserve your seat at the table.

June 4, July 2, August 6, September 10, October 8.
Open mike starts @ 5:30pm. Dinner is served @ 6.
If you care about an issue or cause that you want UUCM members to know about, please bring it to our attention at the Social Concerns information table at refreshment time.

Registration Open for 2012 UU Living Legacy Civil Rights Pilgrimage
  | | |
The next UU Living Legacy Civil Rights Pilgrimage is scheduled for October 6-13, 2012, and registration is now open. This unique bus trip is much more than a Civil Rights history tour through Alabama and Mississippi. We will be visiting historic sites and meeting veterans of the Civil Rights Movement, and will also be spending time together and with guests exploring what racism, white privilege, and barriers to equality look like today in the Southern towns we visit---and in our own hometowns.

For more information and to register, please visit www.uulivinglegacy.org.
