Sunday Worship Service
| Sunday, June 27th, 11:00 AM "Can We Defend Our Civilization's Universal Values in Today's Global Environment?" Nani Ranken with Worship Associate Dick Park
Our commitment to freedom of conscience may place us in a dilemma when other cultures' strongly held values conflict with our own. Are we forced to adopt a relativist position, or can we find a way to stand our ground?

UUCM Summer Service Hours
| Sunday services (beginning July 4 and ending August 29) start at 10 am. Services are lay led. There is no Contemplative Service. There are no refreshments after the services, just coffee. There is also no choir. Just a bare bones service with a chance to get to know one another better.

New member biography: Marty Roth
| I was a member of the Fellowship way back beyond recall. My son was married here. And I've attended funerals here for more than one friend. The patio is a great place for both of those. Can't imagine which of them might be next on my agenda.
My background- Born in NY City. Lived on Long Island most of my childhood; when the Depression hit I went to work in a garment factory; saved the $150 tuition for National Farm School in Penn. Great experience, but the school collapsed after my first year. Back to NY (garment center) until I could save tuition for college. Two years of that, then the War. On return, got a pre-med degree from the U of Chicago. When that didn't get me into Med school, got an engineering degree (nights) at Illinois Tech. Designed water and wastewater facilities. Bechtel needed what I had, so they moved me out here. Ain't leaving.

New member biography: Keith Bergman
| I am very pleased to return to UUCM after many years away. Since my dear wife Jan (sadly now departed) joined many years ago--and she was very active in the "Fellowship" for some time--our family really related to the Unitarian philosophy and enjoyed the people and our involvement in activities here. I am becoming reacquainted with old friends and am looking forward to meeting and getting to know folks I have yet to meet. I am a retired civil engineer and live in Terra Linda. Jan and I had four sons who are married and have given us four grandchildren. I love to hike, backpack in the Sierras and be at the ocean. I have taken over tending Jan's extensive rose garden and I am enjoying that.

Classical Chamber Music Concert
August 7, 7:30 - 9 PM. UUCM's own pianist Milton Wong and his friend Frank Lahorgue bring their chamber ensembles together for a recital of Romantic Era chamber music by Richard Strauss and Ludwig Thuille. The two large works programmed for the evening are at once complementary and contrasting, one for strings and piano, the other for wind instruments and piano. For this evening, Milton will switch to playing his viola. Don't miss this chance to hear chamber music too seldom heard in these modern times. More info about the music
Print and view flyers to give to your musical friends.
General admission: $10 ($5 youth) Refreshments & beverages for
