chaliceSunday Worship Service

Sunday, April 18th, 11:00 AM
"Remembering the Folk" (Music Sunday)
Rev. Chip Wright with Worship Associate Joan Nelson

This morning we celebrate the early 1960's and what has been called the 'folk era.' It was a time not only of music but of ways of thinking and understanding that forever changed the direction of our nation and the world.

Contemplative Service

April 18th,9:00 AM Service

Our Lay led Contemplative Service is from 9:00-9:50 am on Sundays (not available in summer), Readings introduce a silent period to reflect on a topic or idea, followed by an opportunity to share individual thoughts.

April 17th Congregational Development Workshop Canceled, to be Rescheduled

Rev. Chip and I have decided to cancel Saturday's workshop on Congregational Development. Although there is much work to be done to cultivate new leaders, this workshop conflicts with the 2 p.m. Celebration of Life service for Lyn Plath. Our thoughts turn to the dedication and contributions of Lyn as well as Phyllis Collins and Jim Moore.

We will announce the date and time for the workshop once it has been rescheduled.

Dream BIG (and often)
Sat May 22, 7-9:30 pm

The Goods and Services auction is coming...
 ...
A MESSAGE FROM YOUR AUCTION COMMITTEE

The Dream BIG (and often) Auction is up and running!
We are doing something new and exciting this year. Go online to our Auction Catalog: to discover the start of the savory, tantalizing and "now this I really need" donations. Search and item photos are options.  You may pre-bid on these and other forthcoming items until May 15th so check it out often.  Then come to the Auction on May 22 because the fun, live bidding will resume on many items.

On-line registration is easy and necessary and you can easily determine whether someone has outbid you and if you want to keep in the game.  Meanwhile we need more donations. Bring your donation forms to the UUCM foyer or community room. Let's fill in the gaps!

If you need help with the auction site contact Phil Smith

View the complete UUCM Auction information.

Email Joyce RhdJy@aol.com  if you would like to donate the items or have other wishes.  She will put the request through in future email weeklies.

Print and View Donation form
also available in the foyer and on the web.
