 Sunday Worship Service

Sunday, March 28th, 11:00 AM "When Will We Ever Learn?" Rev. Chip Wright with Worship Associate Rodney Gothelf
Even though it seems that any comprehensive reform of the health care services in our nation will not be here any time soon, while the Supreme Court gives corporations unlimited free license to buy elections, there is hope!

Get your flowers and baskets ready for our annual
Easter Sunday Intergenerational Flower Communion on April 4th!  This
lovely UUCM tradition helps us celebrate spring and rebirth as we exchange
flowers and enjoy an Easter Egg hunt immediately after the service. Please
bring a basket for your child to collect the eggs as well as the flower for the
service. The children stay through the entire service as we celebrate all
together.
Rev.
Chip would also like to offer families the opportunity to have child/baby
namings or dedications at this service. The age of your child is not important.
Please contact Rev. Chip immediately: minister@uumarin.org
if you'd like to participate.
There
will still be a modified RE program during spring break (April 11-18) at which
time I'll provide some special worship just for the children during services in
the Wright room. We'll also be making tissue paper flowers to bring to Country
Villa for our last visit of the season on April 25th.
I
look forward to seeing all of you.

Happy
Spring!

 Dream BIG (and often)
  |
  |
The Goods and Services auction is coming Sat. May 22
 It
is time to start thinking about what you would like to donate. Try to
think outside the box and do something different than in past years.
For example if you have season tickets for the ballet or symphony  you
might offer a pair of them. Or if you have a favorite restaurant you
might ask the manager for a gift certificate.  If you are a member of a
museum you might take someone as your guest. You might offer
instruction in your favorite hobby be it knitting, photography or
computer games.

 If
you know anyone in the winery or spa business see if they might offer a
gift certificate. It is good for their business and the key is if you
have a personal connection. 501(c)(3) letters for tax deductions can be made available by request.

First donation - Succulent savory dinner for 6, fresh abalone donated by Chip and Lisa. Bid now in the foyer.
