Department News   |   Calendar   |   Reminders   |   Youth Programs   |   Parish Bulletin

Greetings!

August is an exciting time for all members of the Chaminade Julienne community. In the days ahead, families and faculty members will prepare for the beginning of another school year; coaches and student-athletes will gear up for the fall season; and the alumni office will host two of the most anticipated events of the summer.

This coming Monday, August 6, the 28th Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Outing tees off at the Miami Valley Golf Club. Participants will enjoy 18 holes of scramble-style golf starting at 11 a.m. before finishing back at the clubhouse for dinner at 5:30 p.m. Spots and sponsorships are filling up fast, but there's still time to register online or by phone.

Then Saturday, August 11, friends and families are invited to campus for the Lucas Pfander Memorial Alumni Race, starting at 6:30 p.m. Runners and walkers of all ages can participate at no cost in one of two 2-mile races (for grades K-8 and ages 14 or older). All proceeds from the sale of commemorative t-shirts and donations will benefit the Lucas Pfander Scholarship. If you cannot join us, we encourage you to download a Virtual Race bib and walk or run for Lucas from wherever you happen to be that day.

Your support of these community events directly benefits CJ students. If you have questions or would like to know more, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Go Eagles!
