Greetings!
You are personally invited to join members of the CJ community on Sunday, September 11 as we commemorate the tenth anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001 during a special program hosted by the Junior Council on World Affairs (JCOWA).
In conjunction with the Dayton Council on World Affairs, Chaminade Julienne was selected as one of three area high schools to host this memorial event. Parents, students, families and friends are encouraged to spend the evening remembering those who lost their lives that fateful day.
The free event will begin at 6 p.m. in the auditorium and feature guest speakers, a memorial slideshow, and music from CJ's concert band and concert choir. We hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Tony Ricciuto, teacher and JCOWA moderator | email

Announcements from the Academics Office
Accessing NetClassroom
Parents were mailed information for accessing NetClassroom (CJ's online grade program) on Friday, August 26. If you did not receive this information or have questions about NetClassroom please email NetClassroomSupport@cjeagles.org or contact the Guidance office for assistance.
Grades and Grade Reports
Mid-quarter interim reports will not be printed and distributed. Beginning this year, interim grade reports will be available only online in the school's NetClassroom system. Over the last year, more and more parents are using NetClassroom to gauge the progress of their sons and daughters. This means that it is no longer necessary for CJ to print out and distribute paper copies of these reports
If you do not have internet access and need a printed interim report, please contact the guidance office. Quarter report cards will still be printed and distributed.

A Message from the Health Clinic
All Emergency Medical Forms should be on file in the Health Clinic. Students who have not returned completed forms may be excluded from school beginning Thursday, September 1. All Immunization Records must be on file by Monday, September 8. Letters were mailed home to families who still need to submit these records. If your son or daughter needs medicine during school or sports/extracurricular activities, it is required that he or she submit a physician's order to the Health Clinic. The only medications that students are authorized to carry and self-administer are emergency medications such as epi-pens and inhalers, and only after an Authorization to Self Carry and Administer Medication form is completed by the prescribing physician and on file in the nursing clinic. All other medications require the Authorization to Administer Medication form to be on file and medications must be kept in the clinic. All medication forms are available here at cjeagles.org.
