 Important Information Regarding
Guidance Office Requests

Greetings!

As we head into July, the guidance office is busy finalizing class schedules, room assignments and assigning locker numbers to students. This information will be sent out to families in early August. Your son or daughter's guidance counselor will be available to assist you and answer any question you may have beginning Tuesday, August 16. Contact information for your child's counselor will be included in the packet.

During the summer months, if you need a work permit or a copy of your student's transcript, please contact Kelly Muhl, administrative assistant, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 461.3740 x243, or by email. Please allow two business days from the Tuesday or Thursday that we receive your request for it to be processed.

  • For work permits: make sure to include a complete address, the employer information and the physician's certificate or a copy of your son or daughter's most recent sports physical.
  • For transcripts: make sure to include the reason a transcript is required so that we can determine if it needs to be official or unofficial. (NOTE: CJ alumni should fill out and submit an Alumni Transcript Request Form, available at cjeagles.org.  Allow two business days to process and include the fee of $3.)

As the new school year is quickly approaching, we look forward to working with each student very soon and wish everyone a wonderful summer. GO EAGLES!

When is the first day of school?

New Student Orientation is Wednesday, August 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and students will need to be in complete uniform (see 2011-12 Uniform Guidelines). The first day of school for all new students in addition to all returning students is Thursday, August 18.

Tentative schedules were distributed to all students on Tuesday, May 31 and final schedules will be mailed out in August. Counselors will be available to discuss schedules with students and their families beginning Tuesday, August 16.

When will my student receive a supply list?

Supply lists are distributed by individual teachers within the first few days of class.

What are the regular school hours?

Regular school hours are from 8:05 a.m. to 2:59 p.m. except on late-start block days, when school begins at 9:37 a.m. For a complete listing of block days, please view the School Calendar at cjeagles.org. All schedule types can be viewed here on pages 9-10 of the 2011-12 School Handbook.

When/where can I purchase school uniforms?

Uniform tops can be purchased at any time from one of CJ's three vendors; Appleheart, Anyway U Want It Designs, and Casual Image. Bottoms may be purchased from CJ vendors or other retailers.  Please reference the 2011-2012 Uniform Guidelines for more details.  Gently used uniforms may also be purchased at the Used Uniform Sale on July 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library.
