Help Make CJ's Senior Picnic Special

Wedneday, May 18  |  1:30 p.m.  |  Delco Park

Greetings!

The Senior Picnic at Delco Park is quickly becoming a favorite tradition for seniors as they finish their final exams and careers as CJ students, but this event could not happen without the caring donations of time, food and other items by all members of the CJ community. Any parents who wish to make a contribution for this event can help by:

  • volunteering for part or all of the event (beginning at noon and ending at 4 p.m.) to help set-up, serve, and clean up, or
  • donating food items (potato salad, baked beans, pasta salad, fruit tray, veggie tray, chips, snacks, drinks, cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, paper plates, napkins, 16-ounce plastic cups, utensils and condiments)

If you would like to help make this picnic a memorable send-off for our seniors, please email or call me at 937.572.5993.

Thanks!

THIS WEEKEND

Powder Puff Flag Football Game for Charity

Saturday, May 7  |  1:30 p.m.  |  West Carrollton Jr. High

CJ's senior girls will take on the Alter Knights in our 2nd annual Powder Puff Game for Charity sponsored by the CJ Student Council. Admission to the game at West Carrollton Jr. High School (directions) is $2 for players, coaches, and spectators. Concessions will also be available. All proceeds will be donated to the Dayton Area Habitat for Humanity.

Last year more than $400 was raised for charity as the Eagles defeated the girls from Alter, and this year we hope to make an even larger donation! If you are interested in getting involved, here are just a few ways to help:

  • Donate desserts or drinks to be sold at concessions for the game.
  • Attend the game on Saturday, May 7, pay an admission fee, and cheer the Eagles to victory!
  • Make an outright donation to the cause.
  • Pray for the safety of our students.

Please email Angela Ruffolo with questions or if you'd like to donate. -- View/print flyer

2011-12 Emergency Medical Forms

All students are required to have an annual Emergency Medical Form (EMF) on file in the School Clinic (view/print form). This form is required in the event of a medical emergency so it is imperative we have updated information annually by the first day of the school year. If your child is involved in summer activities, it is required that a form be turned in by June 3, 2011.
