Have You Seen a CJ Sign?

Greetings!

The communications office is on the hunt for Chaminade Julienne signs like the one pictured below. They can be seen posted along streets and thoroughfares upon entering into Dayton.

Parent Volunteers & Donations Needed for

Teacher Appreciation Meal

Traditionally the Co-Educators and CJ parents provide a special meal during Catholic Schools week to show the CJ staff our appreciation for all the work they do with our children. This year's luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3. Please consider helping make this day special by participating in some way. We need donations of special desserts and a few door prizes to help make this day memorable.

The teachers have requested if you send in a special dish, to send the recipe too. If you are not a cook but would still like to help, there are plenty of opportunities. We will be setting up and decorating the night before and we need help with serving and cleaning up that day. If you would like to help, or want more information, email Mari Jo Rosenbauer at karosenbauer@att.net or call her at 890-3955.

Senior Picture Deadline Approaching

The deadline for submitting a  senior picture for the 2011 yearbook is February 1. If your senior son or daughter has already been photographed at Easterling Studios, then you do not need to submit a photo to CJ. However, if your senior child was photographed at any other studio, you are responsible for submitting a copy of their formal yearbook picture to Mr. Greg Mueller or a member of the yearbook staff by February 1.

If you still need to schedule a sitting for senior pictures, Easterling Studios can be contacted at 937.222.8410. Remember, if your senior son or daughter wants to be included in the class composite picture that hangs in the halls of CJ, he/she must be photographed at Easterling.
