What's in your closet?
That is the question I ask at my workshops and seminars.
Do you feel frustrated trying to find an outfit to wear
in the morning? Instead of running out the door not being satisfied with
your appearance, you can make getting ready every morning fun
and enjoy your breakfast!!! It just takes a little patience and practice.
I am sure you have heard by now that it is a good idea to
shop your own closet. The problem is that many women do not know how to do
that. You think that if you have nothing to wear, how can there possibly be anything hidden in your closet that you will possibly
like or enjoy?
I can promise you that if
you follow a few simple rules, you will uncover a wardrobe that
you never dreamed existed. Every carpenter has his tools, every dentist
has his tools and every plumber has his tools as well.
You just need your tools of the trade! Your tools are very simple: QUALITY HANGERS, LONG MIRROR, AND GOOD LIGHTING.
These tools, along with a few rules - and you're on your way!
Rule #1 Clothes, shoes, handbags & accessories
should be the only items in your
closet (unless you share with a significant
other)
Rule #2 Only the
size clothing that fits right now should be in your closet.
Rule #3 Anything
torn, faded or just plain OLD should be tossed.
Rule #4 Get out all those necklaces and belts that you
never wear and start
using them. You
will surprise yourself, and see the difference
accessories make.
When you follow this process, you will begin to see your
wardrobe with a different eye. You will open your closet door and see many new
possibilities!
