What should you expect from a professional contractor
The April 2010 edition of Qualified Remodeler featured a sales and marketing article by Dave Lupberger which listed five guidelines to share with potential clients regarding expectants you should have for a professional contractor - I thought it would be valuable to share the information with you.
- A professional contractor will be on time for every appointment (if they are running late they should communicate the reason);
- Professional contractors will promptly return phone calls;
- While on the jobsite (your home) professional contractors will be respectful to you and your neighbors;
- At the end of each work day the work area should cleaned and free of hazards; and
- Communication throughout the project regarding the process and keeping you updated on the status of the project.
