Welcome to Thistledown Shoppe
Greetings!
One of our tenets is loyalty. To you, our customers, and to our vendors. Once we find a vendor that gives us great customer service and product, we stay with them. One of those vendors is Brown Sheep. We have carried them since we first opened five years ago and consider them our bread and butter. We started out with Lamb's Pride and now have Nature Spun, Cotton Fleece, Burly Spun, Serendity Tweed, and Wildfoote. Want to know what else we have in stock? Monday Morning KnittersJoin us for several hours every 2nd and 4th Monday morning from 8:30 am until 10 am or later. Inspiration. Motivation. Coffee. Laughter. Conversation.
Yarn Lovers Night
Crocheters, knitters, spinners, weavers - whatever your fiber love is - meet with like minded folks every Wednesday night from 6 pm until 8 pm.
Inspiration. Motivation. Wine. Laughter. Conversation.Jessica Carden sent us an invite for Monday 6/25/12 at 6pm "Knit-in for the NICU" at my house at 890 E Narlock, under the willows (bring a beach chair). Call 231.590.9853 to RSVP. We are knitting 14x17" baby blankets for the little ones to be able to bond with mom's scent. Community yarn is available, but any soft blend with a gauge small enough for teeny fingers (or wires& tubes) to not get stuck, will be welcome. Some are coming to learn, some are coming to help raise $ for American Cancer Society Relay 4 Life in Suttons Bay at the end of the month (where I'll be knittin' all night @ the camp-out). So... if you want to come over, we're knittin' till we can't see our stitches: maybe 10? Jesse says no shop-lights or headlamps - it's a 'schoolnight'!
