Greetings!
Okay, spring is here. I am enjoying the trillium, daffodils, and other spring flowers. But is it possible to keep the temperature around 65 degrees? And I will say that I've been having a busy spring. We had a birthday party for my husband (he is now 70 years old) that included a bagpiper, our puppies visited the vet several times due to encounters with a porcupine, and both of my daughters had ceremonies with Michigan State University - Kristina now has her Master's in Public Health and Mary has her teaching certificate. The shoppe also has a new tenant.  Momma robin built a nest and there are approximately 5 eggs. She is very shy, so when you approach the front door, be aware. Kathy |

Free Patterns
A group of us are working on the the Kauni Rainbow Cardigan. Let me know if you want to join us, so we can save the yarn for you. Plan on 3 -4 skeins. We meet on Wednesday afternoons. Garter Stitch Baby Kimono - fingering weight yarn (Ravelry pattern) Some folks have added an applied i-cord to the edges. A classic Ripples baby blanket - easy enough to take this pattern to use for any weight yarn, but if you have to have worsted weight, we have plenty of that in the shoppe. Summer Neckerchief - Franklin Habit adapted this from a pattern in a book published in 1843. Garter stitch and it, too, can be used with almost any weight yarn. His model uses sport and DK. Try Nature Spun Sport, Loyal, Portland Tweed, Nordique.
