Classic  Elite has a gift for you

Classic Elite has a wonderful promotion going on right now.  Read what they have to say and this does apply to yarn and books that are not just theirs.  We are a CEY retailer, so we would love to help you get some freebies from one of our favorite companies.

"Classic Elite wants to give back to the men and women who risk it all to follow their dreams, open yarn shops and keep them open in these changing and challenging times. In fact, we have so much faith in those dreams that we want to give everyone a present. Between now and December 15th, spend $40 or more on yarn or books at any CEY retailer in the continental US and send us your receipts. We will send you a free recent pattern book and three mini-skeins! It's our "thank you" to all the knitters and crocheters who recognize the value of supporting our local knitting communities. Please see our website for rules and instructions on how to receive your gift."

 Free Patterns

Dawn, from Knitamazoo, has a pattern for those of us who want to make socks from worsted weight yarn.  Her Easy Boot Socks is a quick knit with thicker yarn.  What a great present to give for the holidays!  And don't forget to check out her other patterns.

Classic Elite has some wonderful yarns and here is a pattern for their Alpaca Sox.  Mini-socks, just in time to knit for the holidays.  They will look good on the tree and as a decoration on packages.

The Wurm is a fun pattern for a hat.  Use sport weight yarn, such as Nature Spun Sportweight and St. Denis Nordique.  You do have to be a Ravelry member to access this pattern.

And talking about the Nordique, Susan just finished a model of the Bloody Stupid Johnson hat using that yarn.

A rose for the crocheters.  You could make it into a scarf pin or put it on a purse.  You can use different yarns depending on what size of a rose you want.

Crocheted stocking ornament.

Buttons
Last week Gary and Mary, from Cadillac, came in with a board full of lovely wooden buttons.  Mary is a crafter and needed buttons, so her husband went into his woodworking shop and came out with these.
