According the United States Department of Labor, Labor Day is a tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. It also marks the end of our summer as we watch folks slowly go back to their homes downstate. 

While some of you are packing up and going back to your daily routines at home, we continue to add to our inventory.   As of today we offer 156 yarns from thirty-five different companies.  We also have bags and cases from Namaste, various items from Lantern Moon, and five different brands of needles.  Our notions include mugs and thermal cups from Knit Happy, limited edition art buttons from Laughing Fox (an artist in Suttons Bay), hand crafted stitch markers, highlighter tape, row counters, soothing lotions, and lovely woven bags.  The Thistledown clan is constantly knitting models so you can see how the yarn works up.
