HIYA HIYA INTERCHANGABLE NEEDLES
We received two sets of the smaller interchangable needles yesterday, US 2 - 8. The larger sets, US are on back order. If you have been waiting for bamboo interchangables, check these out. The HiyaHiya needles are great!
CLASSIC ELITE PORTLAND TWEED
Looking for a great tweed yarn? Portland Tweed uses a US 7 and gets 4.5 stitches to an inch. It is made of 50% Virgin Wool, 25% Alpaca, 25% Viscose Rayon. And the other great part is that Jared Flood of Brooklyn Tweed fame has a new pattern booklet using this yarn. We have them on order and expect them any day. The Raverly link is here and Classic Elite's link here.

Free Patterns
Woodland Shawl - This could be knitted with any of our sock or lace yarns, Cotton Fine, Stella, or Dawn.
Sampler Purse - A great way to learn how to knit Fair Isle. Any worsted weight wool, such as Lambs' Pride or Mission Falls 1824, would work.
Husbeast Socks - Want to knit socks, but don't want to use small needles? This pattern uses worsted weight and size US 5 needles.

Ravelry
Those of you who know me, know that I absolutely love Ravelry!
If you are not yet a member and want to understand it better, Wikipedia has a pretty good article about Ravelry. And Ruth (our Thursday lady) and I would love to help you navigate the site. Both of us use it extensively.
I am on there as KMD52, if you would like to friend me. Let me know who you are and I will do the same.

TRUNK SHOW
Classic Elite has sent us a man's zippered sweater knitted out of Portland Tweed, a woman's pullover knitted from La Gran, and a lacy wrap knitted out of La Gran.
