What's New

We are stocking up for the cooler weather and continue to receive new yarn, patterns, and books, along with restocking our inventory.  If you are looking for something special, feel free to ask us.   Quite often we have yarns that can be substituted for your project.

Yarn

Mountain Colors has been in business for 15 years. They started in 1992 with four yarns and seven colorways. Their number of yarns has grown to 15 and they have increased their colorways to 46 luscious colors that have been inspired by the mountains, rivers and woodlands that surround them.  Melody has been after me to pick these folks up and I can see why.

At present we are carrying their Bearfoot and Merino Ribbon.

BearfootThe Bearfoot yarn is great for socks and baby clothes.  It is soft and incredibly fun to knit.  I snagged a skein for me and am learning the Magic Loop with it.

Merino RibbonThe Merino Ribbon can be knit into vests, shawls, and scarfs.

Lana Knits Hemp
All Hemp 6

Hemp is the ultimate seasonal yarn - cool in the summer and warm in the winter.  The more it is put through the washing machine and dryer, the softer it will become.
