LifeBridge Community

Summer Programming

Greetings!

We are excited to announce to you our Summer Programming plans at LifeBridge Community!

We've had a great year at Y.E.S.! and wish to continue the relationships we've been building with our children and their families.

We are looking for individuals who are willing and able to volunteer in the daytime Wednesdays, Fridays, or alternating Tuesdays, either with the children in a supervision capacity, in the kitchen, or through prayer for our children and staff.

Would you consider volunteering for LifeBridge Summer Programming?

Please read on for more information, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us! Thank you so much for caring about the children and families of LifeBridge Community.

Sincerely,

Michaela Flack

HIStory Camp!
1st-3rd Graders - Wednesdays, 9am to 4pm
4th-6th Graders - Fridays, 9am to 4pm

At this year's HIStory Camp, each week we will go "back in time" to learn about our state and nation's history, and how it's all a part of GOD's story! We will spend part of our day in storytelling, reading groups, Bible lessons and discussion, and part of our day at a different SURPRISE field trip every week. Field trips are designed around specific time periods in history, and are to include The Children's Museum, Conner Prairie, Central Library, Trader's Point Creamery and more (see the "Learning Links" sidebar). Breakfast and lunch will also be provided for all students in attendance.

The Viewfinder Project
7th-9th Graders
Alternate Tuesdays, 9am to 4pm

The Viewfinder Project is BACK! Due to the popularity of last year's program, we've decided to bring back this curriculum, which focuses on teaching students to "see the world differently" through photography and life skills learning. Each morning will be spent in interactive photography workshops, allowing the students to take their own photographs. After lunch, we'll head out to explore the city through field trips, which will include the Indiana Transportation Museum, Geode Hunting, and much more. Breakfast and Lunch provided for all students.
PLEASE NOTE: This group will meet on June 7th, June 21st, July 5th and July 19th ONLY.
