MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
The election is over and kudos to all who put their names forward to represent the residents of Ward 26.
Congratulations to the successful candidates:

City Councillor: John Parker
English Public School Trustee: Gerri Gershon
English Catholic School Trustee: Angela Kennedy
French Public School Trustee: François Guérin
French Catholic School Trustee: Claude-Reno D'Aigle
Detailed election results can be viewed on the city's website, www.toronto.ca/elections/Thanks to all the volunteers on the various campaigns who helped their respective candidates. Next up: the Federal election perhaps. Declared candidates include John Carmichael for the Conservative Party of Canada, Georgina Wilcock for the Green Party of Canada, and Rob Oliphant for the Liberal Party of Canada.
