Municipal Election - Candidates

City Councillor candidate and Flemingdon resident Sagu Vinothachandran withdrew on Sept. 10th. Sagu has endorsed Jon Burnside and her team has joined his team. Here is her letter of endorsement from her website, www.votesagu.ca
"I filed my nomination for the position of city councillor because of my sincere desire to work with the citizens of Ward 26 to resolve the issues that were not being addressed at City Hall - better resources for children, youth at risk, women and seniors. Community service has been a driving force in my life and devoting my time to helping children, youth and women realize their full potential has been one of my top priorities. For years, I have also taken part in bringing together our diverse community. After filing my nomination, I met Jon Burnside who shares my vision for our community and
embodies the qualities of a dedicated city councilor. He is a trustworthy, sincere, and tenacious person who will work hard to engage and unite the citizens of Ward 26. Jon has the desire and capability to establish connections across various communities, including the Tamil community. He has the necessary skills to empower the youth and provide them with opportunities that will help them become the leaders of tomorrow. For all the reasons mentioned above, I wholeheartedly give my full support to Jon Burnside. I encourage all my supporters and volunteers to join me in joining Jon's campaign, and together we will elect a community leader and community builder as our next city councillor!
Together we thrive!"
I am also supporting and working hard for Jon Burnside. If you would like more info about him or his campaign, please don't hesitate to contact me, satinder@helpmeit.ca, 416-805-5736 | |
