Afghanistan Benefit Concert

The Committee "Youth Aiding in Rebuilding Afghanistan" (YARA) is comprised of Afghan youth living within Thorncliffe, Flemingdon Park and nearby areas who have come together to raise awareness and help their country of origin.
Our youth have been working hard to organize a fundraiser which aims to raise a minimum of $5,000 for a livelihood development project in Afghanistan.

The project will help young men and women in Afghanistan learn carpentry and carpet weaving skills and help them in establishing their own businesses to help generate a living for themselves and their families. 100% of the profits will be donated directly to the project.
View the flyer for our upcoming event "Afghanistan Benefit Concert" Fashion Show and Cultural Dance performance.

Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

Donations can also be made directly to the cause and a tax receipt will be issued for donations of over $20.

Please speak to Azam Hassim, at the TNO Youth Centre or call (416)879-8778 to make arrangements for a cash or cheque donation.
