Soccer Wrap-Up

The inaugural season of the Thorncliffe Soccer Club ended on Saturday August 29, 2009.

We initially expected to register 60-70 players. Our final number was actually 385 players! We had 24 teams with players ranging in age from 5 to 16.

We hope that all the players had a lot of fun learning and playing soccer this summer. We also hope that both the players and the parents met many new people and made new friends.

Thank Yous

Thank you so much to all our volunteer coaches who took responsibility for a team. And thanks to our volunteer helpers who helped the coaches, refereed, and helped to setup and take down the fields. All of them helped to make the season a success. We hesitate to name them in case we miss anyone (so please forgive us if we miss your name) but we will because they deserve to be recognized. Please do let us know if you would like to coach a team next summer.
