Happy New Year and thanks for your continued participation in the CCC Book Club. We will resume our regular discussion meetings later this month, on January 24th. You may have discovered a slight delay with availability of our book selections at Jimmie B. Keel, but thanks to support from Jean K., I would like to report that Jean's new contact person at JBK hopes to have 7 reg. print, 2 lrg. print and one audio of Shalimar the Clown put into delivery bags to come to our branch hopefully by Friday or Sat. Worst case pickup will be Tuesday as Monday is M.L.K. Day.
Apolgies for the snafu but the troubles stem from a changing of the guard (or, a changing of our contact person) at the library -- we hope to be back on track with the February book and the others following .
Again, our CCC Book Club meeting is set for Monday, January 24, 7:00 p.m., to discuss Salman Rushdie's Shalimar the Clown. Thanks, Caroline S., for suggesting this book.
