I hope you are planning to attend the September Book Club discussion on Monday night, September 27th; the title this month is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. Jean K. suggested this book; the B&N website, as well as the newseletter I sent a few days ago, both offer a lot of background history and discussion material, to start off our talk!
For the meeting tonight, 7:00 p.m., let's convene in the lobby of the Cultural Center, as usual, and then proceed upstairs. And as always, it's OK to attend the meeting even if you didn't quite finish the book, or if you read it long ago.
