NAVTA Wants You!

2012 Convention EditionNanette Walker Smith, MEd, RVT, CVT, LVT, recently emailed listing the reasons why her NAVTA membership matters:

  • NAVTA is the liaison representing the membership to AVMA, AAVSB, AVTE, and the state veterinary technician associations.
  • It is about membership - active membership - and the umbrella that helps move our profession forward.
  • NAVTA is to be the thread that links us all together from an association standpoint.
  • NAVTA is to be the logical connection between the U.S. and other countries for veterinary technology.

Why does your NAVTA membership matter to you? Email Adrienne Lawrence via editor@navta.net with your list.

Hot off the presses

Journal cover July August 2012

We just finished the latest edition of The NAVTA Journal and it is filled with all kinds of great information. Look for details on a webinar NAVTA is hosting with International WIN; an article covering information for women who are pregnant and work in the veterinary field; and a new feature on preventative pet health care.

There's also three CE articles, member updates, and a case study.

Do you have a great idea for an article in the journal? Be sure to contact Adrienne Lawrence by emailing editor@navta.net.

P.S. Only members in good standing receive The NAVTA Journal by mail. Have you missed the last few editions? If you haven't renewed for 2012, seize the day and renew now, so you don't miss out!
