The NAVTA Annual Conference will take place November 18 - 20, 2011 in Washington, D.C. The event is RACE-approved for 10 hours of CE for technicians. A complete schedule of events is available here. Online registration is available on the NAVTA website, and scholarships are still being offered on a first-come first-serve basis. Email info@navta.net for additional information.

David Wyttenbach 

 

David has been a member of the Virginia Unit of the America Rescue Dog Association, the Virginia Search and Rescue Dog Association, since his start in 1999. He has served on the Board of Directors as Vice President, Treasurer, and currently as Team President. He is also the team representative to the American Rescue Dog Association in addition to being a team representative and VA state evaluator. 

David will be speaking about opportunities for technicians in search and rescue and providing a demonstration on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

Vote for the 2012 NAVTA Executive Board!

  

 

Voting is now open for the 2012 NAVTA Executive Board. Active NAVTA members will receive a ballot with their upcoming issue of The NAVTA Journal. A downloadable copy of the ballot is also available on the NAVTA website. Ballots must be postmarked by November 4, 2011 and include an active NAVTA membership number to be considered.

Nominations for Vet Tech of the Year, SCNAVTA Advisor of the Year, and SCNAVTA Chapter of the Year are being accepted until November 1, 2011. The winners will be announced  at the NAVTA Conference in November.
