The fall issue of The NAVTA Journal will be mailing October 1. This issue is packed full of interesting articles and CE.
A profile on NAVTA President-Elect, Cat Holly, CVT, is the feature story. Learn about Cat's background as a veterinary technician and her involvement with NAVTA as well as several other organizations. Cat will begin her term as NAVTA President in January.
Also included in this issue is a background on the three students featured on this year's NVTW "Pets & Vets Need Techs" poster. Remember, NVTW is October 9 - 15, 2011! Send your stories and photos to editor@navta.net for inclusion in the winter issue of The NAVTA Journal!
Another special article in this issue discusses the importance of technician utilization in regards to preventative pet healthcare. NAVTA feels strongly about this subject, and we have recently become a partner in the newly formed Partnership for Preventative Pet Healthcare.
Finally, our regular features, such as state, SCNAVTA, and specialty updates; book reviews; a case study; and four CE articles are included, with one small change... Three of the CE articles are RACE approved! We are very proud of this accomplishment and are working hard to have all future CE article RACE approved.
