As I'm viewing the month of October, planning, preparing, and reflecting, I'm amazed at all that is happening in just this month alone that is energetically supporting us to change our lives so that we can live a more simple life that is rewarding, abundant and free: inner peace! 

Humanity is experiencing the most incredible time of spiritual growth ever, and this month's energies will be amazing in support of "pushing" us to remember to co-create from love and not fear, which means having Mother/Father God at the center of what we intend. We will be challenged to face our fears so  that we can make the necessary changes to live the life we've been praying for, wishing for and dreaming of. 

Some people will feel these energies with excitement; however, some will feel panic and as if they are immersed in their fears. There are blessings in transition, but it does take introspection, order, and the commitment to self to really know one's self and to remember most of all LOVE. Now is the time to MAKE the time every day to truly get to know ourselves. The energy and time we take to nurture, to care for, and to know others must be redirected by putting ourselves first and do this inner work. This priority to become self-empowered from a sturdy foundation of self-love and self-worth cannot be neglected any longer if you wish a life of peace--some refer to this as "Heaven".  This inner journey is done by scheduling time for yourself and making your own spiritual practice on a daily basis. These are the necessary, cost-free ways of changing our lives; otherwise, we can choose to keep things just the way they are, which is part of our freewill to do so.

Did you know that the way we create an empowered nation is by ourselves becoming empowered first? Did you know that creating a healthy planet is by ourselves thinking healthy thoughts first? Did you know that a healthy mind creates a healthy heart, a healthy body, and these higher energies help clear Mother Earth of negativity and heal Mother Earth, too? Imagine that...all of this work in service to others beginning with putting yourself and your needs first?!  How cool is that?!

I'm writing this article to briefly explain what is happening because you'll either feel it yourself in your own life and wonder what is going on, and/or you'll witness it in others you work with, in your family, in loved ones, in friends, and in dealings with others in general. Regardless of how it may impact you or others, change is coming and compassion...love of self and others is key. Perhaps you'll find yourself in the position of empowering someone with this information...so, to begin with...

On Sunday, October 10, 2010, (10/10/10), an Ascension Wave is arriving with a force of Light that will assist in the breaking down of barriers. 

First to note is that these waves occur to offer windows of opportunity for another level of getting to know one's self.  This is the journey of embracing inner authority, which is not an easy path. This is where the introspection and commitment comes in because it requires that we are honest with ourselves and to be open and to accept every part of us that sabotages or challenges the "self." We can see more of ourselves when we understand the motivation behind our actions, our thoughts, and our words. If you do not currently have a daily spiritual practice, this alone is a great reason to start one! 

External distractions are what made our lives and this world complicated. During your spiritual daily practice, you'll find spending the time to do this inner reflection is hugely rewarding when you set the intention to release yourself from misery and suffering. The Universe responds to the actions we take, so it depends on your actions and not just your words or theory to change your life. Personally, I've been doing a spiritual practice every day since 2005, and it has completely changed my life. Yes, there have been times that have brought me to my knees, including the loss of my mother in 2007 during some of these times, but I can honestly tell you that everything I have experienced brought me to this point that I know who I am, why I'm here, the fears I came to face...this is the gift  my life experiences have brought me. Now I realize the shift is the source of my learning and growth does not require it to come from fear and challenges!

Aren't these the burning questions all of us have?  Why am I here? Who am I?  What is my destiny?  What is the meaning of my life?  We're ready to get these answers now, and the good news is:

People are being offered the opportunity to either accept this new way of life or not, but the challenge will be the courage it takes to see their own beauty, strength and power--this is their inner "Light".  Do you know that it is most challenging for human beings to see their own Light, and the reason why we fear seeing this is mostly because we think we can't sustain it if we find it!  So give yourself a break and say, "So what if I can't maintain it? If I fall back, I'll just get started again!"

Another wonderful part of this Ascension Wave is that we are moving further away from judgment and criticism of self and others, which is also part of the energies of Jupiter retrograde (see below where I mention other energies for the month).  The higher realms we are moving into and will have access to are not attainable if we maintain the lower energies of judgment and criticism. If you want to see more abundance in your life, including love and money, this is an area to address that is not negotiable. The number one thing we do is gossip! This is a perfect example of a "symptom" of someone being in a lower ego state of judgment and criticism, and it's the easiest, cost-free way of beginning some of the changes in our lives for an improved life! You can help make these changes by not contributing to conversations at work or in your personal life. These are the small changes that everyone can make with practice. Often times we'll find that what we say/do in this regard is a habit, too, isn't it?  So these energies are supporting us in having us look at what we think/say/feel/do to make the necessary changes. Just remember that it takes only 21 days to form a new habit! That's it!

Internal changes will be most notable first as we return to the ancient truths and wisdom that will replace man-made systems that support an old paradigm of lack, limitation, conditional love, poverty and victim consciousness. We are in need of our educational, medical, financial, and legal systems changing to serve the highest good of everyone, and THIS is the time we've been waiting for!  It is truly the turning point for our lives. We have the opportunity of leaving the old paradigm of fear and panic behind.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, they are other energies that are arriving or working along side of this Ascension Wave, too. They are emphasizing each others' strengths and in support of the barriers coming down:

New Moon, Thursday, October 7th (energy lasts for the  3-1/2 day cycle)

In addition to this Ascension Wave, it's a New Moon in the Sign of Libra. (The Moon is also in Libra at the time of this writing Thursday afternoon, US EDT.) The New Moon is a time of completing old activities and the preparation of new ones, so this is another energy in support of transition. Libra has the energies of being positive, the "iron hand in a velvet glove," beauty, and balance between self and others. The Sun Sign of Libra is with us through most of October.

Friday, October 8, is when Venus goes retrograde until November 18th. She's joining Jupiter who's been retrograde since July 23, and Jupiter goes direct on November 18th as well.  Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury are all responsible for providing energies of abundance, however Venus specifically brings love; business; money; and the beauty of art, music and creativity; Jupiter brings to you the revelation of your dreams, your visions, and how wonderful Mother/Father God is, BUT for Jupiter to do this, Jupiter retrograde energies require that you dig deep into yourself to overcome a very in-depth and profound task and that is overcoming judgment and guilt. As you may recall, this is also a part of the Ascension Wave. During this retrograde, Venus asks us to open our heart where we have closed it and to release heavy burdens. She shows us that without self-love and self-worth one cannot gain the love one truly desires. Venus asks us to use our wisdom instead of fear, hate and lust. Jupiter asks us to let him bring forth the energies of expansion and our soul's truth instead of expanding our fears; we need to remove anything we do that sabotages ourselves.

Universal Laws of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit

Over these next two weeks, these Universal Laws of Mother/Father God are being anchored on Earth, and these laws provide us even more energies that are assisting us in removing barriers. They provide the gift of removing "cloaks of illusion" and replacing them with "cloaks of illumination". These laws challenge us to create a new set of soul skills that we've never risen to before and to trust in Mother/Father God, as well as to trust and to have patience and understanding of Divine Timing.The laws are key in how we live an abundant life as multi-dimensional human beings. When we learn who we are, understand that Nature is a part of us, such as Water representing our emotions, we can relax and have a higher awareness that can tap into a higher consciousness, providing newer and better solutions to improve a certain area in our lives. *There's far too much information for each of these important laws form me to list here, so I'll just summarize it by adding the fact that the energies available to us now to manifest our dreams and wishes have never been more powerful!

Full Moon, Friday, October 22nd
Just when you thought it couldn't get any more supportive, we have a Full Moon on Friday, October 22nd, in the sign of Libra. To add to the Libra information I noted above, Libra is ruled by Venus and Friday is also Venus' day. This is a great energy day for this air sign (Libra); the Element of Air can be creative, intellectual, and rational. A Full Moon is a magical time that has inspired millions for thousands of years to romance, art, music and poetry, plus the Full Moon is a time for accomplishment and enjoying what you've received. Needless to say, this is an amazing day!

As you can see, October is bringing us the energy of CHANGE in many ways, and we can choose to take advantage of this time in a marvelously positive way, realizing that everything we have risen above and intend to rise above becomes another tool in our tool kit of wisdom. Love and cooperation with ourselves and others changes everything!  Enjoy a "new and improved" connection to Spirit...

Self-Love and Self-Worth is our new foundation! 

Fear, sadness, anger, judgment, criticism are energies and actions that block us from our living an abundant life and from receiving our guidance and answers to our prayers. Once you master your fear, you'll see you pushed your own boundaries only to find a whole new part of you!  A whole new you starts to emerge when you decide to make it happen!  My experience is that it works, and it's worth it!  When you're experiencing being challenged, there's nothing like having that inner foundation that keeps you from being "knocked off" your feet!  Dare to dream and dream big!  Click on "Drops of Jupiter" below to hear this inspirational message and song:

As I mentioned in the above article, I will be in Mt. Shasta for the October Full Moon. One of the prayer ceremonies people perform on a Full Moon is very simple yet very powerful, and it is writing down what it is you wish to let go of (call it a "Release List') and writing down what you want to bring into your life (call it a "Seeding List"). Often people will do this to assist them in fearlessly moving forward to release old behavior patterns, beliefs, illusions, and anything that no longer serves their highest good. This is balanced with the equal but opposite request to serve their highest good.

 

If you wish to create these two lists (it can be on one piece of paper with a list on each side), I'd like to offer to take your lists to Mt. Shasta for you, offering it in a ceremony of prayer. I will then place it in a fire to release it to Spirit, Mother/Father God, where your wishes and dreams can rise from what you are releasing like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. I will state that all prayers are for your highest good with harm to none.
