Chrysalis Board
Youth Recruitment: Members of the board were reminded to be recruiting a youth to the board to support their position if applicable.  There is a great opportunity to talk with youth during the upcoming Chrysalis weekends.
Boy's Flight
We will be setting up for the boy's weekend Friday at 4:30PM ET, please show up if you are able to assist.

Changes to Chrysalis
Ron England presented the challenge to the Board to brainstorm what we can do to continue to make the Chrysalis CARES community better?  Below are suggestions that were a result of the brainstorm session:
    • Improving the music at candlelight by creating a songbook or powerpoint with lyrics.
    • Producing a pre-recorded soundtrack so that anyone who can sing can lead.
    • Start doing outreach presentations to churches in the area and make use of the new video to show what Chrysalis is all about.
    • Have better communication with Lay Directors about youth who are interested and willing to serve on team.  Ensure the kitchen sign-in list is reviewed and provided to the team formation committee as well.
Stonybrook Storage
Stonybrook is currently looking for a new solution to the current storage problem.  They want to be a partner with us in this matter and they recognize that the free store is growing and is creating storage problems.  There are no solutions currently for the board to make a decision. We did decide to take a look at PODS to see if this would be an option.

Cups for Weekends

It was discussed that using Styrofoam cups is very wasteful and not very green.  Chrysalis will be looking into purchasing printed plastic cups with our logo either to use and give to the caterpillars at the end of the weekend or to keep from weekend to weekend.

Holy Communion was not celebrated due to
absence of our Spiritual Director
