We have some exciting things going on in the Chrysalis CARES community!! This is a full packed Flight 24/7, I hope you take the time to read it in it's entirety
First, I want to welcome all of our 2009 Butterflies all 57 of you!! We welcome you to the Community and encourage you to come out and support the upcoming weekends. We need your help and excitement! Check out the web site for ways you can get involved or ask your sponsor to show you the ropes!!
Secondly, I want to remind you to start now recruiting for the Summer Flight/Journey's! It's hard to believe we are coming up on the 2009 Summer Weekends! Now is the time to start recruiting for the weekends coming up in June and July. If you know a young person (15 - 18) or young adult (19 - 24) talk to them now about attending.
Thirdly, I want to encourage you to check out our new on-line Prayer Vigils! I am very excited that we are now able to sign up via the internet for our prayer vigils. Don't worry the prayer vigils will still be available at the area Emmaus Gatherings. For more information on the prayer vigils in the individual communities please see Amanda Hickman, Columbus, Belinda Paisley, Newark, Cindy Brumbaugh, Reynoldsburg.
Finally, I want to encourage you to come to the HOOTS, both the monthly and the Overnighter planned for THIS MONTH! For more information reach out to Rob Pemberton.

Hi my name is Nathan Poquette, Chrysalis C.A.R.E.S Young Men's Journey #11, table of Tiger Woods. The Chrysalis weekend is a weekend to help you get closer to Christ, and to know how much God and everyone else loves you. The weekend is full of love and sooo much good food. Yeah the food is great, you will never walk around hungry. The leaders there are there to help you and are the greatest ever! On this weekend you will meet new friends, come closer to God, and also learn to be that example to everyone else!
When first dropped of at the doors at Chrysalis, I did not know what to expect, I was afraid for the outcome, cause with no electronics, and guys I barely know, I was really anticipating what was going to happen. But during the weekend, I have made new friends in the first day, and I became to know what being a Christian entails. After the second day I have accepted God's love for the first time. I always called myself a Christian, but I fully didn't understand it and his love. From then on I have been in two bible studies, and I have served on a team. My Chrysalis experience turned my life around and really helped me out!
