The Chrysalis Board met on Monday, March 17^th and we had the opportunity to sit with the Lay Directors and hear their recap of the winter weekends. It was especially encouraging to hear how the girls and guys of the weekends have been staying in touch and even planning their own gatherings (Hoots). The Board has been asked on different occasions by a few individuals when we will be bringing back the 4^th Friday/Hoot. I am pleased to announce that we are bringing back the 4^th Friday/Hoots. Please continue reviewing the eNewsletter for additional information.

Kitchen Coordinator

Below please read a letter received from our new Kitchen Coordinator, Jeff Rings:

Greetings!

I am very excited to be taking the reigns of the Chrysalis Kitchen. I am overjoyed at the opportunity of the Lord using my gifts and talents to continue the success that the Chrysalis Kitchen has experienced. I am looking forward to what the Lord has in store for Chrysalis!

I would like to encourage everyone who has or desires to serve in the kitchen to come and join us in the upcoming weekends! We don't have sign ups, but click here to learn more about the kitchen schedule. We need YOUR assistance in the kitchen prior to every meal and. of course. to help serve! Come out and serve in the kitchen and have a great time serving Christ!

The Board welcomes Jeff!!

I believe the Lord is orchestrating a transition that will be seamless to the Chrysalis Kitchen! I appreciate Jeff's sensitivity to this change and his desire to ensure consistency in the Chrysalis Kitchen during this time of transition. It is important and I know a natural response from our community to be supportive of Jeff and the Kitchen Team. I look forward to watching God work!!

Team Formation for both the Girl's and Boy's weekends is underway!!

Chrysalis is blessed this summer with two Lay Directors who have come up through the Chrysalis CARES Community. Both Lay Directors have served the Chrysalis community since attending their Chrysalis weekends as teens. They have served Chrysalis in many capacities and both have held positions on the Chrysalis Board. Chrysalis is all about developing Christian Leaders and the two Summer Lay Directors are a product of that effort!

ClownCollege

YOUTH WELCOME!

Ever have the desire to serve the Chrysalis Community doing a Clown Skit? Well, now is your opportunity to learn! We will be hosting a Clown College on Saturday, April 5th, 9AM - 3PM, at Stonybrook UMC.

The training is open to ANYONE Youth or Adult who has been on a three day experience like Chrysalis and Emmaus and you have the desire to serve our community by clowning. Come and check it out it will be a day of learning a new way to SERVE!!

The Chrysalis Skits will be taught and practiced, as well the art of applying clown faces (make up) will be explained.

�         Bring the Caterpillar to the weekend

�         Take the Butterfly home.

�         Attend Sponsors Hour

�         Take the Butterfly to Hoots and Gatherings

�         Gather Agape for the Caterpillar

�         Assist Butterfly in locating a Share Group
