 Happy Valentine's Day!
Very often on Valentine's Day we don't feel pretty enough or lovable enough. I thought I'd share my story.
Remember in last month's newsletter, I wrote it is time for all of us to step out into the world. Including myself.
For years, even though I have led the Spirited Woman community fearlessly - I've had many fear-filled moments.
At times I would say to myself. I'm not good enough, strong enough, pretty enough - yet my sincere Spirited Woman message to others was always, "YOU are enough as you are. Because you are."
Humph. A total dis-connect. So, I share the above picture with Joe Moller, the new Executive Director of the Downtown LA Art Walk for two reasons.
One: Because it took every ounce of my courage to get dressed for the photo op and feel pretty enough.
And two: I'm starting my new Downtown Conversation series and Joe is one of the guests. I will be sending out the invite locally this week.
There you have it. The truth. From one lovable Spirited Woman to the next. Supporting one another.
