Parenting can be a roller coaster ride filled with joy, conflict, satisfaction, love and confusion. With no rule book to follow, as parents we must dig deep to find the best way to respond to and interact with our children and embrace the healthy chaos of family life. Meditation can help us find our own inner strength and wisdom; that quiet place that enables us to take pause and assess. It can give us the confidence to delight in the shifting landscape of our lives.
This meditation series will include basic breathing (pranayama) exercises, breath awareness, relaxation and meditation techniques. There will be time for questions and discussion. No previous experience is required. All are welcome.
Tama Soble co-owns and directs Esther Myers Yoga Studio where she teaches students at all levels and trains yoga teachers. Tama also conducts workshops and retreats throughout Ontario, in Costa Rica and in Italy. Over the past three years she has been teaching workshops and classes for individuals struggling with stress and anxiety. Tama has three teenage children and tries to meditate daily.
