Conscious Discipline ® Workshops
April 18th and 19th
Parents, Teachers, Educators... we all want our children to be happy, healthy, confident and independent while remaining in meaningful relationships with them. How can we do this? Come to our workshops...
Jill Molli from Loving Guidance will be presenting two workshops designed to teach immediate strategies to increase academic achievement and develop the emotional intelligence of children and adults.
April 18 (6:30-8:30 pm) Connection = Cooperation
Brain Smart ways to manage the challenges of parenting. Power struggles escalate and always end in some form of lose-lose situation. In this workshop you will learn:
- how to create one-on-one time with children requiring your attention without disrupting or changing the daily schedule or neglecting other children, and
- how to invest three minutes a day using I Love You Rituals to meet the needs of children and plant the seeds of intrinsic motivation so children will choose to change.
Cost: $30. per person; $45. for two parents from the same family. Free babysitting for the first 20 registered families.
April 19 (10:00 am-5:00 pm) Shifting from Control to Connection
Jill will teach you how to replace control with "connectedness" and domination with "structure" in your home or in the classroom. She'll share the key ingredient for successful problem-solving including the adult and child responsibilities needed to make it work. Learn.... how the brain learns to self-regulate
- how to literally "wire" children for self-control
- how to move past your own "triggers" or hot buttons
- how to create and implement a safe place
- how to create a safe keepers ritual
- how to create effective routines to eliminate the majority of discipline problems
- how to use the language of safety
- how to start the day the Brain Smart way
Cost: Single: $85.; Group rate: Four attendees, from the same school/studio, pay for three.
Cost for both days $100./person.
This is a rare opportunity not to be missed. Jill is a dynamic presenter who will leave you feeling energized and motivated. These workshops are for parents, family members, teachers, counselors, parent educators, consultants, trainers, administrators, coaches and staff developers.
