ESTA applies to travellers to the USA from Visa Waiver countries, including Australia. All payments for ESTA applications must be made by credit card or debit card when applying for or renewing an ESTA, with MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.

... DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that Gatwick Airport is offering travellers the chance to get a real head start on their holiday with an offer of a free fake tan before take-off.
Two temporary spray tan booths have been set up promising to give passengers a "Gatwick Glow".
The move follows research by the airport which found that travellers didn't like baring their lily-white English skin when they got to their destination. |
TWEET, TWEET. MOBILES CLEARED FOR TAKE-OFF
Australia's communications watchdog has given the green light for mobiles to be used during domestic flights. The ruling means airline passengers will be able to check email and tweet during flights.
Licensing arrangements will allow airlines to deploy mobile communication services on their aircraft through special on-board systems, should they choose to do so. Users of the service will pay international roaming charges, despite the communications taking place in domestic skies. V Australia has already announced plans to offer onboard SMS and data services subject to the Australian Communications and Media Authority making appropriate regulatory arrangements. |
CHANGE IN QANTAS CAR RENTAL PARTNERS
Qantas has announced that from 19 November 2010, Avis and Budget will become their exclusive car rental program partners. This will allow Qantas to work more closely with Avis and Budget to bring their customers more special offers and to make sure Qantas Frequent Flyers enjoy the best possible car hire experience.
For a limited time you can earn 1,000 extra points on Avis and Budget for bookings of three days or more, valid on rentals completed between 18 August and 31 October 2010. Click here for more details on this offer.
Even though you won't be able to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points with Hertz anymore, we'd like to remind you that you can still earn points with their other Oneworld partners, such as British Airways and Cathay Pacific. Hertz is also proud to announce they have a new agreement with the Velocity Frequent Travellers Program which enables you to earn points on Virgin Blue, V Australia and Pacific Blue.
