17 Again to benefit Jen Danford and Francine Aiello
In order to encourage more students to attend the premiere of 17 AGAIN, we have reduced the ticket price to $15. The premiere is this Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at Harkins Fashion Square. Remember, all ticket proceeds benefit Jen Danford and Francine Aiello; if the initial $20 ticket price is within your budget, please contribute to the cause. This is not about how much it costs to see a movie; it is about helping out two members of Arcadia's staff who are battling cancer and need some financial assistance. Please consider making a contribution even if you are not able attend the movie on Thursday night (donate your ticket to a friend). Tickets are available for purchase at Arcadia in the office at the front desk and in the book store. Please make checks payable to Arcadia PTO. Your ticket to this premiere also includes a free popcorn courtesy of Harkins Theatres.

A limited number of movie posters (Zac Efron) are for sale for $10 in the book store; all poster proceeds benefit Jen Danford.

our schools.

Public Education
Dear Parents and Friends of Public Education,

In our continuing efforts to draw attention to the budget crisis and its potential effects on our public schools, we will be uniting with parents around our State to literally join hands for public education.  On Sunday, April 19, at 3 pm, we will hold hands with hundreds of other parents from districts around Phoenix to show our commitment and dedication to our public schools.  At the same time, parents from around Tucson will be meeting in a local park to do the same thing.  We hope to raise media attention with this event so WE NEED YOU!  Please bring your family- spouses, children, parents and grandparents- and come join hands for education.  Here are the details:

Why: Show public education is OUR priority!
Show the commitment of parents around our State
for the promise of public education,
and support making public education
a State priority.

When: Sunday April 19 at 3 p.m.
Please come early so that we can all be in position
right on time.

6655 N 23rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85015
Located two blocks east of I-17 on Glendale Avenue.
Enter and park via 23rd or 21st Avenue or Citrus Avenue on the south end of the park.

Who:  Everyone is welcome!!
Bring your little ones, your teenagers,
your neighbors and your parents.
Come picnic in the park before hand and enjoy the afternoon,
or just come to hold hands at 3 pm.
PLEASE CARPOOL IF YOU CAN- think of the neighbors in the area!
The most important thing is
for us to have A TON of people turn out this day,
and be there to join hands at 3 pm sharp.

Nametags and car signs for the "Join Hands" campaign are available on the SPC website.
Please use them and share them!

As we wait for a budget from our State Legislature, please take a little time out of your week to show your support for the education system that helps mold the futures of your children and 82% of the children in our State. Your time and presence will make a difference!
