CLASS OF 2009 PARENTS- PROJECT GRAD NEEDS YOU!

It's hard to believe that graduation is only two months away for our Arcadia High School seniors. While the next two months will be busy with many special events for our seniors, one of the highlights of their senior year will most certainly be the Project Grad Party that takes place immediately after their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 27th at Cracker Jax.

Project Grad is in its 9th year and is a safe, fun event for the whole class of 2009 put on by parents of the senior class. Directly after the graduation ceremony, the Class of 2009 will be loaded onto buses and taken to Cracker Jax for an action-packed, chaperoned, all night party.  They will be returned to school by bus at 4:00 am for pick-up.

An event of this magnitude requires the help of many, many parents to be successful. A very hard-working Project Grad Committee has been working to plan this event since last Fall, and now we need everybody's help to make it happen for our seniors.

We are looking for 80+ parent volunteers for this event.  Every volunteer will be assigned a specific activity or station.  There are many types of activities and time slots available.  So, whether you are a late night person or an early morning person, we have options to meet your preferences. You can choose to volunteer for one shift or all night long...it's completely your choice.

I am attaching a listing of the various events and the shift times here so that if you have a particular interest, you can let me know. I will be assigning volunteers on a first come, first serve basis - you will see that some activities already have volunteers listed.  If you don't have a particular preference for stations, then I will assign you where I need you, but please let me know what time of the night you are available to help.

Please send me an email or leave me a phone message with your name, activity preference (if you have one), and shift preference (if you have one) by May 1st to secure your spot.  This event is extremely popular as we give our graduates one final send-off celebration, so please let me know your preferences as soon as possible.

Thank-you, in advance, for making this a Project Grad one to remember for our Class of 2009!
