Greetings!
It has been said that the only constant is change and here at Stony Point Center that is truer than ever. We are doing our best to ensure that you experience spiritual rejuvenation and tranquility while you are here. What you might not notice is our team's hard work behind the scenes to support your purpose. Here are just some of the ways we are transforming to serve you better: - We recently implemented a new system to better manage our dining room and meal preparation. We'll ask you to present a wristband to a host who will greet you at our buffet line. This helps us to better track and anticipate meal counts, keeping our costs low.
- In order to improve our service and facilities, we are asking group leaders to complete a guest exit survey.
- Our Fair Trade Shop at the Point will soon offer speciality beverages and homemade treats.
- Our intentional multfaith community continues to flourish and invites you to register now for our annual Seder ceremony on April 10th at 6 pm.
- By summer, we'll have changed the names of our lodges to reflect the natural environment that we work so hard to protect.
Find us on Facebook to learn more and stay abreast of happenings here! Read our 2011 Annual Report highlighting our achievements that will sustain Stony Point Center for future generations. Grateful for your support, Paula Sandusky Manager of Communications |

Skype call from Bethlehem kicks off the event
Participants at the gathering of Kairos USA were treated to a key-note address from afar. Stony Point Center Conference Services made possible a Skype address from Rifat Kassis in Bethlehem. Read an article from Spencer Chiimbwe, a CLT Interfaith Fellow who attended the event.

Becoming better stewards
Changes you'll notice in the dining room
In order to better manage our food costs, we now hand out wrist bands to overnight guests and tickets to day guests. Our dining room host will ask to see your wrist band or collect your ticket. This helps us to know exactly how many meals we serve over a week or month, and our food service manager can have better information for planning and ordering. We are pleased at how easily our guests have made the transition to our new system - Thank you!

| Thank you, Jane
Thanks to Jane Searjeant Watt for our new Town & Country minivan. We've already put it to good use shuttling homeless guests to shelter for Rockland Helping Hands.

Renaming to reflect our values
 | | Magnolia Flower Bud |
Stony Point Center is a place of welcome for all people, a place to build community, and a place to live in harmony with creation. As we work to live into these values, we are changing the names of some the buildings on campus to be more consistent with and to more accurately reflect our efforts. We are using names of trees that are found on the campus to rename Lakota, Beta, Latin America, Africa and Asia buildings as Evergreen, Maple, Magnolia, Walnut and Beech respectively. This will encourage all of us to be more conscious of the natural environment at Stony Point and all the ways we are dependent upon it. Join us as we work to preserve and enhance this great resource.
Find us on facebook to see pictures depicting our new names. Our header for this enews includes one of the many types of evergreens found on our campus. |

See you at your next event, sojourn or a CLT program.
Stay connected, we'll see you on facebook.
