Announcing Fall Programs- Something for everyone!
Greetings!
There are many exciting events to tell you about on our campus this fall!

Join us October 17 and 18 for our first annual Homecoming for all SPC alumni and friends.  We will honor past directors, associate directors and connect with old friends. We plan to discuss the ways in which SPC is building a future on the legacy created by all the many folks who have lived and learned here.  Please plan to come. Help us to spread the word of this event to mission folks and partners you know who have lived and trained here at SPC.

In an effort to support congregations, we're beginning a series of "Pastor's Day Off" retreats.  These programs which begin on Sunday night and run through Monday afternoon are heavily subsidized by SPC.  Rick hosts the retreat in August and Bill Carter hosts the program in October.

Waypoints and Lise Worthington's Biblical Feasting program continues this fall for those who would like to sojourn with us and experience the wonders of Lise's cooking!

For those who would like to, or are already trying to do the hard work of building multi-cultural faith communities, we're hosting a support conference for Multi-Cultural training, "I Dream a River".  Come for story-telling, deep sharing, and brainstorming with others about how to move your congregation into a vibrant and healthy multi-cultural community.

Finally, we're excited that Freda Gardner has agreed to spend two days with us for conversations about ministry by, with and for older adults. Those who have experienced Freda's teaching know that she is always pushing herself and others to think more creatively about challenges in ministry.  This conference is a chance to learn from and with her about her current passion in ministry.

Come to Stony Point this fall!  You won't regret it!

Blessings,
Kitty & Rick
