Welcome to The Art SHOP TALK!  We love what we do and love to talk about it.  As anyone in retail can tell you, when you work with the public, you usually have some interesting stories to tell.  We've created this blog to keep you up-to-date on what's happening at our gallery and in the art and custom-framing world.  We hope to make you laugh occasionally and to make you say, "Hmmm..." as you read it.

If I knew then what I know now... You can say that about a great many things, but today, I'm referring to PORTRAITS.  When you are young or have young children, you don't often think about freezing a moment in time.  Trust me - in what seems like a split second, your babies turn into adults who live far away and you and your spouse reach the stage in life where you no longer like looking at current photos of yourself.
