I did it! As you know, I got a NYC parking ticket in October 2011 for parking near a "No Standing Anytime" sign. Our friends at New York Parking Ticket guided us through the dispute process which included:

	taking photos at the scene of the crime,
	writing a detailed letter, and
	making sure we met the deadlines to fight the ticket.

What Did I Learn?

	Take photos of every street parking sign on the street, street signs, street markings, and any other proof to help your case.
	Document the photos with a description of the scene and your interpretation of the parking sign, even including measurements if that will help.
	Send in your documentation before the deadline. The greatest argument will fall flat if it's one day after the deadline.
