Where to Park on Thanksgiving

If we're being truly honest, the last thing we want to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day is a NYC parking ticket. So we here at Park It! have got the scoop on where to park on the street – legally, and where to find the best parking garage deals.

The good news is that you do not have to feed the parking meters on Thanksgiving Day, and Alternate Side Parking regulations are not in effect. But if you see any signs saying "No Parking Anytime", "No Standing Anytime", or "No Stopping Anytime", then you cannot Park, Stand, or Stop there, even on Thanksgiving Day.

If you want to watch the parade, here are some of the parking garage deals we've found:

	Ulltra Car Park – 359 9^th Avenue @ 30^th Street. Outdoor lot. $14 enter by 10am & exit by 7pm, $22 for 10 hours to midnight, $30 for 24 hours or overnight, $10 extra for Vans & SUVs.
	Central Parking — 147 W 83^rd St & 157 W 83^rd St, between Columbus and Amsterdam. $27 for 6 hours, $32 for 12 hours. Print the coupon here to get these rates and even lower ones. Oversized vehicles may have a surcharge.
	QuikPark – 305 W 46^th St and 328 W 56^th St bet 8^th & 9^th Aves, W 68^th & W 70^th bet Freedom Place & Riverside Blvd. $30 flat rate at all locations. Oversized vehicles may have a surcharge.
