 Kit McCormick Returns to NH SBDC

 

Thanks to a contribution from the Citizen's Bank Foundation, Kit McCormick has returned to the NH Small Business Development Center as a part-time Business Advisor. She will be working out of the the SBDC's Seacoast office and will serve the Greater Rochester area and points North to the Greater Wolfeboro area.

NH SBDC Continues Alliance with NH General Industry Roundtable

On January 11, 2011, a new alliance was signed for the New Hampshire General Industry Roundtable between OSHA Region 1, OSHA Training Institute Education Center Region 1/Keene State College, New Hampshire Small Business Development Center, American Society of Safety Engineers, and Public Service of New Hampshire.

QuickBooks Seminar Series

 

Location for all seminars is Great Bay Community College, 320 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Seminars presented by Joan Sweeney of Wrye Unlimited LLC, a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

 

This session will introduce you to QuickBooks, assist you with setting up your company in QuickBooks and teach you how to work with customers and vendors.

This session will help you develop sound financial record-keeping processes using QuickBooks. You will learn how to work with bank accounts, enter sales and invoices, receive payments, enter bills, and analyze financial data.

QuickBooks reports answer questions about your business and can help you get a complete picture of how well it is doing. This new seminar will teach you the basics of QuickBooks reporting, how to get the most out of the reports, and the best ways to manage reports effectively.

Workshop offered for Food Service Establishments

The NH Dept. of Environmental Services and the Town of Meredith will be hosting a free workshop for restaurants and other food service facilities interested in learning about proper grease trap management, energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation and the benefits of becoming a Certified Green Facility. There will be a vendor area for viewing environmentally-friendly products and services.
