SBA Disaster Loan Deadline is June 3
June 3 is the filing deadline for federal economic injury disaster loans available in the entire State of New Hampshire. The SBA declared a disaster because of damages and losses to crops caused by flooding, excessive rain, high winds and hail that began on June 15, 2008.
The 2009 ENERGY STAR for Small Business 2009 Awards are open to any small business that has increased the energy efficiency of its facility through energy management improvements during the last two years.
"The effective federal income tax rate faced by small businesses varies by the legal form of organization", according to a report issued last week by the SBA's Office of Advocacy. Tax Provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act (ARRA) of 2009
Revenue Procedure 2009-26 provides guidance under §1211 on how a taxpayer that is an eligible small business makes an election to carry back a net operating loss (NOL) for a taxable year ending after 2007, for 3, 4, or 5-years instead of the normal 2-years.
