Becoming Whole

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that

the world through him might be saved" ~ John 3:17

The word "salvation" as it is used in the bible has some very interesting meaning that you may find surprising. It is not about escaping punishment or holding at bay the wrath of an angry God. When we use the word "saved" in the context from which Jesus taught we will find something very positive and beautiful.It is really about the sacred energy of divine love that comes to heal our fears and separation.Rather than escapism and exclusion it is about wholeness and well-being.It denotes the idea of safety and communion with our Father/Mother God.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the prayers, cards and well wishes that I have received. I feel totally supported by my Unity family in so the ways. Please affirm with me that all is working for the highest good.

Sunday, September 4, is Beach Party Sunday. This will be the prelude to our Labor Day Picnic and the beginning of the countdown to our Beach Party Auction on October 7. Wear your best flowered shirt, flip flops, sun hats and cool shades on Sunday, September 4. And save your "cool shades" for the "Cool Shades Contest" that will be held at our Labor Day Picnic. The Coolest Shades will get a great prize plus a ticket to the auction. You don't wanna miss it.
