THE POWER OF CREATION

So God created humanity in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them ~ Genesis 1:27

Is it true that each one of us have the power to create?
How does the creation process work?
Does experience determine belief or does belief determine your experience?
Can we use this power to create a new and harmonious world?

Have you ever wondered about exactly how the universe works? Or looked at the world around you and felt that there was a lot more going on than conventional wisdom can explain?We are living in the transitional age and everything is changing right before our eyes. The scriptures predict a golden age upon the earth that will reflect peace and blessings upon all. Ultimately the lion will lay down with the lamb and we will beat our swords and weapons into plowshares and pruning shears. This is the goal of what Jesus taught us and we are the ones to do it.

You and I have the power to create a world that is based in peace and understanding. What kind of world can you imagine? What would you like to create?

We must cease and desist from blaming others for the lack we see. It is time to hold ourselves responsible and get on with the business of creating what we really want. Join us on Sunday as we discuss The Power of Creation!

Back-to-School Supplies!

We are collecting school supplies for Sevier Middle School, and they need the following items:

Composition books* and notebooks*

boxes of pencils*

glue (not sticks)

3 or 4 new bookbags

zippered pencil cases

notebook paper

*items most needed

Also, students are required to wear collared shirts, and the school could use some new shirts to hand out to the kids who don't have them,

for boys and girls, any child or teen sizes, any color.

The supplies will be given to students who cannot afford supplies, and it gives the students a good start to the school year.

The first day of school is August 17th - so lets have our supplies delivered by then!

There will be a collection box in the foyer next to the food collection bin. Thanks for your donations!

This is a volunteer call for "yard angels" to mow and "weed eat" around the property! We have two riding mowers and a push (self propelled) mower and a variety of weed eaters available.
