A variety of presenters will share their experiences and insights: 

• Becky Sideman from UNH Cooperative Extension will provide an overview of post-harvesting care and storage.
• Andy Jones who will share the crop storage practices and lessons learned at Intervale Community Farm in Burlington, VT. 
• Garland Mason of Green Mountain College and Hans Estrin from UVM Cooperative Extension's Farm-to-Institution Program will describe Vermont's Flash Freezer Program and the opportunities for both growers and buyers. 
• David Dolginow will end the day with a presentation on how Vermont Refrigerated Storage stores products from multiple farms efficiently and effectively.

Small & Beginner Farmers of NH is accepting applications until November 15, 2011 for the Beginning Women Farmers Whole Farm Planning Course.  This is their third and final year of a grant that provides a ten week course for 15 NH women farmers who have been farming for 10 years or less.
