Creative Communities Exchange New England Foundation for the Arts Thursday - Friday, May 19 - 20 MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA Creative Communities Exchange is a day and a half of workshops prepared by creative and cultural community leaders. The Exchange is an opportunity to move beyond connecting with peers to learn about model projects directly from those developing creative communities on the local level. Fee: $80 until May 1. Award Opportunities Business in the Arts Awards: Many businesses donate time and financial support to the arts community in relative anonymity. Nominating a deserving business and/or individual for a Business in the Arts Award is a simple act that demonstrates appreciation, generates good will, and helps bring attention to the exemplary partnerships formed between the arts and these businesses and individuals. Arts organizations and artists are encouraged to nominate their favorite businesses. Businesses are encouraged to self nominate. The winners will be announced at the Awards banquet on May 16. Details at New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts. Nominations due February 11, 2011.
