Karaoke Kara
We first showcased this great shrug a few years ago, but its just as adorable and fashionable as ever. Jonelle knit one in a weekend.. and she knits really slow!  5 balls of Karaoke makes an average size.. and its flattering on all figures.   The Pattern and the Karaoke can be found at your LYS.

tofu ts

This is the Summer Knitting Camp group from  Embraceable Ewe Yarn Shop in Hamburg, New York!

They're all sporting SWTC Tofu Tee's

What great fun to see all of them together. The Tofu T is such a great project and each is completely unique. All you need is 5 balls of SWTC TOfutsies to make one. Its knit double stranded so the project goes pretty fast. The pattern is written by Joan Somerville with sizing to 3x.

Huge thanks to Erin and the Embraceable Ewe ladies for sharing with us.

Lauraine at  www.mobilecrafts.co.uk shared this fun little bookmark project with us and we're very excited to showcase our Tofutsies yarn with it. Lauraine's bookmark uses only about 10 meters of Tofutsies which makes it a fun little gift to make with that bit leftover from your last pair of socks.  You can't quite see it in our photo but there are little  beads strung on a strand of yarn to hold your place in the book, leaving the cute sock to dangle out the back.

We've had the best time at SWTC this month. We came back from the holiday really rejuvenated and ready to be our creative best. We've just put the finishing touches on several new yarns we'll add for next winter and have a bunch of new colors on the way for this spring! Now, we turn our attention to finding the new designs we want to showcase all of this great stuff. Thats the fun part!

Jonelle and Jonette will be at Stitches West again this year helping our friends at Beacon yarn cabin and wandering the show. We love to see what you've made with our yarns, so please bring them to show - its one of my favorite reasons for being there. Your enthusiasm and creativity make my job an amazing life experience.

Keep your emails and ideas coming to us and show your projects on our rav group.

Until February,
         Jonelle

THE YARN CART
toe jam closeup

Jonelle fell in love with this little cart and made arrangements to offer them to knitters through our website.

To see the magic of it in action click here!

The yarn cart wheels around so you can move projects, gear, yarn to and from shows or events or meetings. When its time to load it all into your truck or mini van or car with a large trunk you simply roll up to the edge and the wheel base will flip easily up and over the top so that the cart tucks neatly in. No heavy lifting required. In fact, Jonelle's kids loaded it into the truck as a test.

See step by step pictures here . The yarn cart is only $250 which includes shipping to most to continental US destinations. Some areas may require additional shipping charges...

We love everything about it!
