I'm ready for Winter!
September 2009

I am ready for Winter. Yesterday we had a storm in Phoenix and the temperature went from 110 to a mere 85. My daughters ran to their closets hunting for their UGG Boots. "Can we wear these yet?" they begged, still in their flannel jammies to keep warm.  Ridiculous aren't we? Despite our desert heat, we truly love winter weather and winter clothes. I spent my labor day weekend alternating between work on a new sock design and finishing up my new winter scarf!

With Summer knitting behind us, we welcome fall and look forward to Winter fun. Check out all of these fun ideas. As a special bonus, I've also included a sneak peak at our newest yarn Llama Lluxury which won't even be in stores until the beginning of November. Make sure your favorite store owner knows to reserve some for you. This is the finest baby llama we have ever seen.

UK's YARN FORWARD

We
went nuts with excitement when we saw our issue of UK's Yarn Forward magazine today. This beautiful top is knit with SWTC TERRA. The pattern shows several shots of this sweater and each is more beautiful and unexpected than the last. It is stunning! Check with your local yarn store to see if they stock this magazine.. if not, try Barnes & Noble or buy the digital copy online.  This scanned picture hardly does it any justice.
